BIOGRAPHY
1975-1978
Private lessons with artist Sonia Mazer, who, in the 40's modeled for and was mentored by Raphael Soyer ( Dec. 25, 1899 - Nov. 4, 1987) who was a Russian-born American painter, draftsman and printmaker.

STATEMENT
My creations are realistic. When I am attracted to a subject something inside of me stirs. I am passionate about my subjects and seek to paint the truth in what I see while adding a touch of my own spirit to my work. My hope is to engage you with compositions that evoke strong feelings in you. Accurate drawing skills, sound painting techniques are the foundation of my artwork.
Although truthful depictions are my main goal, it is also important that the subject I've painted "feels" like I have captured it’s soul. As an artist, I want to share my passion with those who appreciate the beauty, hope and inspiration that art can offer.
